Buzzcity will be organizing their monthly developer garage on 30 July. Developer Garage seeks to provide a channel for developers to share experience, trends and insights on developing and commercializing sites and applications on mobile Internet. This upcoming series will cover the different development platforms, which one is up and coming, and how to choose the right one if you’re a developer. Speakers include:

Chua Zi Yong, CEO of Stream Media and founder of Code Android Singapore, will give an introduction to Android, delve in to the opportunities and growth potential of the platform. Zi Yong will also discuss how you can get started to develop on Android.

A panel will be featured for the first time in Developer Garage Meet Up. They will explore pertinent issues of the Android platform – adoption of Android devices, fragmentation challenges and monetization options. Speakers include:

• Loo Cheng Chuan, Principal, SingTel Idea Factory: Brings with him extensive experience in SingTel’s finance, consumer and corporate businesses. With his current appointment at SingTel Idea Factory, Loo is occupied with seeking and developing innovative products and cutting-edge technology.

• Winston Goh, Product Marketing Manager, Samsung: Winston manages the various complexities inherent in the business, integrate the multiple functional roles and ultimately drive the business to meet its key matrices.

• Chua Zi Yong, CEO, Stream Media: Drives in-app payment system (MoVend) on Android and Android turn-key solutions and trainings in Stream Media.

Light refreshment and networking will follow.
