[Interview] – Pair Programming and Productivity With the Founders of Gameplan

gameplan-echelonWe managed to grab a quick word with Gameplan founders Andy Croll and Arun Thampi during echelon 2010 last week. Gameplan’s software allows easier organization of sports leagues by lessening the hassle and pain, much like what basecamp does for project management.

Gameplan believes that external funding is not necessary at their current stage as it would put negative pressure and influence on product development. Andy and Arun are both strong supporters of pair-programming as they believe it helps to deliver results, evident in how they managed to get Gameplan up in 9 weeks to exhibit at echelon 2010.     No 1 at Echelon2010 was either Foound that was innovative but which competitors can enter with some effort or Insync which is lot harder to do and has a lot more flexibility to go into many areas in the future.
