To spark creativity in the local game developing scene, MDA announced its yearly game development initiative for Singapore-based companies and teams, called Invigorate. It will provide up to $50,000 each for 10 teams to turn their game ideas into prototypes.

The call this year is for proposals of multi-platform games – those that can be played on mobile phones, game consoles, PCs, handheld devices and websites. Budding game developers and students above the age of 18 can submit their proposals to MDA between July 1 and August 8.

Besides funding, MDA will also help winning teams by facilitating mentorship and market access. French electronic game major Ubisoft is among the mentors! Read more about the initiative!
