Gogme – Learn to do Business the Fun Way!

by leslie

Gogme stands for Globally Owned Globally Managed Enterprise; They hope to get the pledges of 3,000 aspiring entrepreneurs from all over the world to commit to the initiative before they open their registration. When registration opens, anyone can contribute US$100 to the startup capital to become a co-owner together with thousands of other aspiring entrepreneurs!

Gogme Learning makes it possible for thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs to make business decisions collectively through internet voting in similar fashion to clicking commands in business simulation computer game. Real life business staff at the other end of the world will carry out these decisions! Through a business blog, the operation manager will update daily business activities and challenges faced. Business mentors are invited to give advice to entrepreneurs.

With a target of 50,000 aspiring entrepreneurs by the first year, they estimate to help aspiring entrepreneurs to raise US$5 million worth of startup capital. Entrepreneurs will collectively own the US$5 million startup capital and the legal cognizable ownership stake of the business entity through the country’s business registrar. 100% of the profits derived from the business ventures will be distributed to the co-owners in proportional to their initial startup contribution.

This crowd funding concept is not the first in the world, but it sure is the first in Singapore (to the best of our knowledge)!
