If you haven’t heard by now, the makers of Second Life, that virtual world offering 3D online entertainment (but is vehemently not a game, they STRESS) is hiring..

And in Singapore!!

So for those of you coding gods, graphic design whizzes out there, hurry because although this job will be based in SIngapore, you will get to mingle with the Linden Labs folks for up to a year during training in their San Francisco main offices.

So if you possess a strong knowledge of databases, physical stimulation (of the proper kind), compiler and VM design and have a solid understanding of web technologies such as Apache, PHP, CSS, C++ among others, you shouldn’t miss out on this opportunity to join Linden Labs in their plan to build an exciting new world! (albeit virtually) If nothing else, its something proud to tell the grandkids 40 years down the road when they have no time to talk to you because they are too immersed in their Star Trek/ Star Wars-style holographic world.. ;)
